SHAP Case Studies
Kinematic Assessments
Kinematic AssessmentsThe SHAP has been used successfully both in the University of Southampton (UK) and the University of Reading (UK) as a tool for investigating the movement strategies of unimpaired participants and patients using three-dimensional motion analysis. An analogue version of the SHAP timer was used to generate an event marker for these kinematic trials.

Prosthetic Assessments
The SHAP has been used as a research development tool by Vanderbuilt Center for Intelligent Mechatronics, USA. Please see http://research.vuse.vanderbilt.edu/cim/ for more details.

Cybernetic Assessments
The SHAP has been used as an outcome measure by Professor Kevin Warwick following his cybernetic implant to assess for potential affected function. For more details, please see Professor Warwick's homepage http://www.kevinwarwick.com for more details.

Bionic Assessments
